I saved this diary for today for a reason...because I strongly suspected what I would be put through this morning, and I was right.

When I worked and lived in Virginia, my first immediate supervisor was a wingnut.
But he was an enjoyable wingnut, always ready for a lively debate, a good supervisor, a great announcer, and a good man.

In the past weeks, Hillary Clinton has gained many important endorsements. While her backers have bemoaned the fact that endorsments they - and she - feel that she is owed, endorsements such as those of Ted Kennedy and John Kerry, have gone to Barack Obama, my own Congressman, the indefatigable Barney Frank, has endorsed her candidacy, we would do well to remember that she also has the endorsement and unqualified support of the last decent President this country had, in those halcyon days before the Chimp d' Etat.
But this latest endorsement makes the most compelling statement yet.

So what would you think of a Congressman who rails on and on about the evils of internet gambling, even authors a law banning it that was declared illegal by the WTO, subjecting the US to compensation claims from other nations, yet is accepting donations from the horse racing industry?
His name is Bob Goodlatte, Republican representative from Virginia's Sixth District.
He has been described as a "little, dweeby, hypocritical moralist." (Perspectives Weekly)
He is also, quite possibly, a suitable target for an Ethics Committee investigation.
