While Obama tries to minimize his involvement with Rezko, the story has taken a life of its own with article after article pointing out his ties to Rezko, the inner city Chicago slumlord.

Hillary Clinton will be ready to lead on day one. No other candidate can say this. She has the most experience. Hillary is so brilliant!

Rather than vote for Obama, I think I'll vote "Present."

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama both introduced new campaign themes today...Let's just say they didn't go over too well!

By now we all know about Obama's shady house/land deal with Rezko (a Syrian) and his wife. We also know he lied about doing favors for Rezko because he hired one of his employees as an intern and also wrote letters in support of Rezko's slums (which by the way had no heat or hot water for weeks at a time) in Obama's district.

I just read about Obama admitting to cocaine use, pot use, and alcohol use. Is this going to be a problem for him in the election? Is this the scandal he was worried about? I think there are going to be many stories to appear about bad things he did in his past. Can America survive another former junkie as President?

Why are so many people here supporting John Edwards? He voted for the war. He is probably one of the least likely to be elected if he won the nomination. He didn't even win one southern state in the last election. I don't even think he won his home state. He is widely ridiculed for his expensive haircuts and makeup-wearing. He puts on an act like he is for the poor people of America, but he spends more on a haircut than most people earn in a week!

I was watching the news from Memphis tonight. The anchor said that the controversial ad was pulled. Immediately after the report, the commercial aired again! Update: The ad appeared on the 10 0'clock news on WREG-TV Channel 3...The anchor is Claudia Barr. Immediately after her report, the ad aired again. She said the ad was pulled and then went to commercial and that ad aired yet again! It's like the Twilight Zone here with non-stop negative ads!

When I read the following headline, I thought of tap as tapping a telephone. From now on when a headline reads Bush Taps so and so for so and so, I will forever think of him tapping telephones!

I just heard the latest Pink cd and it's great. It's her best album yet and the stand out song is "Dear Mr. President." It features the Indigo Girls! You just have to hear this song. It's the best political song in ages. I have included the complete lyrics because I don't remember seeing them posted.

I was watching Fox News yesterday and they referred to Dick Cheney's shooting victim and they repeatedly said he had a "BB" in his heart. It wasn't just one person saying it. They went live to someone at the hospital where the victim is located and even she said "BB."

This lady writes an opinion in our paper each week. Here is her stupid opinion:

Should Democrats be worried so much about abortion rights? Women didn't vote in record numbers in the last election and they knew they could lose this right if Bush won the election. Only 51% of women voted for Kerry and 48% voted for Bush. I always assumed that the vast majority of women were Pro Choice, but that must not be the case.
