It has been a while since I have posted here but I believe that Kossacks will respond to an outrage that has gone on for far too long. While I can always get the three major networks, ESPN, CNN, and Fixed News, I often find that when I check into a hotel that I cannot get MSNBC. This has to stop and I ask you for your help.

Why it Matters that the Daily Kos community needs to oppose Murdoch's purchase of the Wall Street Journal.

What positive developments on the national scene can you point to in the last 5 and a half years that have made you proud to be an American?  On September 12, 2001 in the smoldering aftermath of the worst attack on American soil, I stood with our nation and our commander in chief, steadfast that we would respond with certitude and in unison, against the evil that had occurred the day before.  Our cause was just and we had the support and military allegiance of a substantial part of the free world. Where has that allegiance gone?

It's not enough to have blind anger toward the GOP in this hour of madness. We must mobilize against everything this contemptible administration stands for including the repeal of the estate tax and the nomination of Roberts. We need to work with Howard DEan to mobilize resources locally so that we win win the house and/or senate in 06. Blogging alone is not going to get that done-let's capitalize now on the national anger and turn that into a real victory. The wheels of the republican noise machine are falling off-get after your local media to expose the lies and corruption of this sinful regime. But let's also get boots on the ground to convince our fellow citizens that the Emperor has no clothes-only you can do that. Get with your local party today and lets all make it happen.
