Unrecommend the McCain "heebie jeebies" diary!

So this is what it's come to here?  Are people here DELUSIONAL?  

Can't people here separate what they see actors doing on TV from REALITY?

Right now, the McCain Heebie Jeebies video diary is at the top of the recommended list.

Can someone please explain why?

At least the "bad teeth" diary was about something real -- McCain's somewhat yellowed teeth.  

This one is based in some sort of utter delusional nonsense -- that somehow McCain playing a creepy husband in a skit on SNL is somehow indicative of his true charter.

Are those of you who recommended this divorced from reality?  Please explain!

This is the most ridiculous diary to be on the rec list that I've possibly EVER SEEN here on Dailykos.

This place has gone so far downhill the last few months I hardly bother coming here anymore.  And this is quite possibly the last straw, the death-kneel for Dailykos as we once knew it.

It used to be you could come here and get all the latest news that the MSM was censoring, have intelligent discussions with other smart people, and, well, it was addictive to many of us.

Now we have THIS at the top of the rec list?   A skit where the guy is ACTING, and people are somehow thinking it's REALLY indictive of his personality?

It's called make-believe.  It's called ACTING.  They call actors PLAYERS because, well, they're playing.

Man, you people who recced this need to get a grip, step away from your computers or something and remind yourself that what you see on Youtube isn't REAL.

Okay?

Then go back and hit the Unrecommend button on that diary and let it die a slow natural death.

Please, for the benefit of the site and the people who still come here hoping it won't be a waste of time.

UPDATE:  Some people seem to think it paints McCain in a bad light because it's "funny".  Or they're recommending it because it's funny.

How does THAT paint McCain in a bad light?  The video makes him look like a fun guy, a pretty good actor, and a good sport.   How does that serve our side?
