Yup. Edwards appears least likely among the three to pull his punches. This guy actually sounds like a Democrat. Didn't know that was allowed.

It is pathetic that when the corporate media hears the word justice they assume the speaker is being an unrealistic dreamer.
John Edwards is a real democrat.

I'm not gonna do so now but...
We gots a funny situation this year. For the first time we have a black candidate and a female candidate with legitimate shots at the nomination yet the candidate who represents the most dramatic change is a white male. Ain't life funny.

All glass ceiling arguments aside - we should be viewing the candidates on policy and message.
Not the case though and so we may lose another opportunity.

looking, the process of electing a president in the real world appears infinitely worse. Remember Will Rogers, "I'm not a member of any organized party--I'm a Democrat."

"Organizing Democrats is like herding cats." I'd give credit if I knew who said it. What a great visual!

but a truer statement hasn't been made. Seems like reverse sexism/racism, when the most progressive candidate can't get traction in a primary race. Well, we'll make history or we'll make a good decision.
If we want peace, why do we give weapons and call it "aid"?

simply look at what they are saying, who is supporting them and where they get their financial backing it's clear who the liberal in the race is. I am not suggesting that we should nominate a liberal (perish the thought) but it is nice to hear someone make the arguments.
by MajorFlaw on Wed Jan 23, 2008 at 07:49:49 AM PDT
I'm old enough to remember when liberal was a good thing. The republican redefinition does nothing to negate the superior qualities of a liberal candidate.

Methinks the video is snark as well. Ochs I'm sure about ;-)

against. Dreaming and hope are just fine. It's the weird perception that justice might somehow be anti-corporate. Odd, that.
The other day I yelled to a friend, "Look! A Unicorn!", to which the Unicorn gave reply: "That's nothing. I saw an undecided centrist voter last year."

He does sound like a Democrat. It's refreshing.

People spend so much time talking about Edwards appearance yet he does better when people actually listen to what he's saying. He'd probably do better if the debates were only on radio. He is definitely running as a Democrat and not a centerist. Somebody has to do it.

With a little Truman thrown in for good measure.
I am an Edwards Democrat.
